Background and Childhood

Grayson Duke grew up on a ranch outside Lubbock, Texas. His family had deep roots in agriculture and horseback culture. He learned guitar from his grandfather, who had once played in old Honky-Tonk bars.

As a teenager he wrote songs about rural life, freedom, loss and finding one’s own path. At 17 he performed at local rodeos and small country festivals.

Personality

Grayson is grounded, friendly and modest. Despite his success, he has kept his Texan charm. After concerts he enjoys playing guitar by the campfire and sharing stories.

When not touring, he spends time on his small ranch near Austin, Texas, where he writes most of his music.
